Despite another difficult weekend, Creation put in good strong race at last weekends FIA-GT race at Valencia. The car was competitive finishing 5th.

Website Update: We've had a bit of a update in some area's of the site including the 'Results' and 'The Cars' sections which now cater for the different race series which we compete in.
 

This week, the Creation Team we're out at the French circuit, Paul Ricard with it blue LMES rocket the DBA04-03S.

The 2 day test went well for the team who are confident that this great car is going to really mix it up with those Audi's

The Creation Team didn't quite get the start to the season they were looking for at this weekend’s race in Monza.

The single Creation Lister Qualified 15th due to a number of pre-race problems with the car. The team worked hard overnight to try and solve the problems, and by the time the car was lined up on the grid everyone was confident that all was fixed.

Jamie Campbell-Walter piloted the car for the start of the race, and rapidly cut his way through the field and was up to 5th by the time he pitted to refuel and handover to Jamie Derbyshire. Unfortunately on his second lap, the car fell foul of a lethal combination of oil, coolant and dust around the apex of Ascari; and that as they say was that . . .

Creation will kick-start their 2004 racing season this month at the 1st event of the 2004 FIA GT Championship. The team will run one of their Lister Storms at Monza next weekend.

The car will be driven by Jamie Campbell-Walter and Jamie Derbyshire so we should be in for some good racing, we'll also get to see what the team have managed to squeeze out of the Jaguar V12 over the winter months.

Straight after the race the team will head to Paul Ricard in France, were Jamie will get his first chance to put in some laps in the DBA04-03S.

As usual, we'll be posting the results along with an image gallery and we'll do our best to get Jamie's  impressions on the Creation Lister.
 

Creation has shocked the motorsport community once again by signing  Jamie Campbell-Walter to drive it's blue rocket, the DBA4-03S. 

Jamie see's the chance to drive Prototypes as a natural progression of his skills from GT Racing and told us that he is very excited about the potential of car especially after the recent test results from Estoril.

We'll be posting an exclusive interview with JCW in the next few days.

As reported below in the news from the International Historic Motor, Creation have a new music video which should get all our supporters dancing and singing in the grandstands at this years meetings.

We're happy to report that the video is now available for download, in the Videos section of the site, if you enjoy it (which were sure you will)  please let us have some feedback on it via the forum.

As some of you will all ready know, the Creation  DBA4-03S had its second official test last week at Estoril. Bicks, the team principle is happy to report that everything went great with the car and the small problems encountered at  the last test have been ironed out.  Nicolas Minassian put in a very impressive time of 1:27.0 which proves that the car is competitive and should be able to mix it up with the Audis.

Creation also took  the opportunity to shake down one of its Lister Storms with Jamie Derbyshire at the wheel.

As reported below Creation exhibited at the International Historic Motor Show with its Courage Cougar C26S.  As always the team were a big hit with the the Group C racing community and managed to create quite a show by playing its new music video on a massive 50" plasma screen.

We've got a few pictures from the show in the Gallery and  we'll have the funky new video available for download in a few days.
 

Following the response of Creation and its DBA4-03S appearance at this years Autosport show, Creation will be making their presence known at the International Historic Motorsport Show later this week.

This is the events first year and Creation will be there with its Courage Cougar C26S which has just come back from the paint shop. The  Creation crew will be on hand to spread their unique mojo around  to SPICE up the historic racing community, so be sure to drop by and catch the Creation wave.

We're happy to report that last weeks first test of the Creation DBA went extremely well.

This was the teams first outing with the car since Creation took delivery of  it in early Decemberr and gave both drivers and the mechanics a chance to familiarise themselves with this amazing car.

A  New Year, A New Car, A New Paint Job . . . .

After going through its first winter's strip down and rebuild, the Creation Team present world exclusive photographs of the car with its new paint job.

Ian Bicks, the team principle told us "We're really happy with the final results, I personally think the car looks stunning, I'm sure its going to attract a lot of attention with the fans  and the media"

The photos were taken just before the car was loaded on its truck ready to be taken for a three day test at Valencia in Spain where the drivers will get their first chance at the wheel of the car.

Creation have just announced that Jamie Derbyshire will be driving one of the teams Lister Storms in this years British GT Championship. 'Bicks' (Ian Bickerton) has also confirmed that Jamie will drive in the Spa 24 Hours this year.

Entry in the 2004 FIA GT series has still not been confirmed but is still a possibility.  more driver line up has been announced as yet. We can tell you that the team are in the process of ditching the yellow paint job of the No.2 car in favour of the No.1's blue scheme.

The DBA4-03S is currently getting its new paint job.

After many strange and wired suggestions the team have decided on the blue and yellow as used last year on the No.1 Lister Storm. The team have not announced a driver line up yet for the DBA but we hope to have some news on that very soon.
 

Creation received a fantastic response from the public at the 2004 Autosport show, both the DBA4-03S and Ligier JS3 were on display and attracted a lot of attention and, along with a huge plasma display showing some of the teams highlights from last year, was one of the busiest stands at the show.

With the show over, the team are now concentrating on preparing the car for the forthcoming season.

The Ligier JS3 will be contesting in the Classic Endurance Series that supports the LMES and will be driven by Bobby Verdon-Roe and team owner Mike Jankowski. The car is currently being stripped and checked in preparation for its first test in Spain next week.

The Group-C side of the team plan to be running the Cosworth powered Spice SE88C and the Porsche powered Cougar C26S in this years Historic Group-C series.

As you can see its going to be a busy year for us, we are in the process of revising the web site and plan to have different sections for each of the cars and classes, along with some totally new (and off topic) pages.

This time last year we had just taken delivery of the Blue Lister Storm, so much has happened and the team has come so far, its hard to believe that we are only just over one year old.

We'd like to thank everyone who has supported and helped the team over the last 12 months, without which we would not be entering this new year on such a high.

Creation are exhibiting at the 2004 AUTOSPORT Show, stand number 9445, we'll have the DBA4-03S and the Ligier JS3 on display so if you want to come and meet the team and see these great cars, please drop by and say hello.

As reported below, xmas arrived early for Creation last week in the shape of the  DBA4-03S and a 1971 Ligier JS3 sports car.

Despite the weather we managed to get a few photos of the cars lined up outside the workshop. As you can see the DBA hasn't got its paint job yet so it looks rather menacing in its carbon black finish.

In addition to the photos which you can find in the gallery, we've created a Desktop Wallpaper that you can download by RIGHT clicking on the link on the left and selecting 'Save Target As'

Today was a great day for Creation as the teams latest two cars arrived at the race workshop. First to arrive this morning was the DBA4-03S complete in its shiny, purpose built transporter.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, the team also took delivery of  its latest addition their growing Group C car collection, a Ligier JS3 sports car. This was the winning car at the 2003 Le Mans Legends Race driven to victory by Willie Green.

We'll have some exclusive photos of both these new cars very soon.

Today Creation announced to the motor sport world that it has acquired the DBA4-03S  sportscar prototype (LMP675 class) currently run by John-Neilsen.

Creation intend to further develop the car which still has a lot more potential to give. The team  will run the car in the LMES series ( four 1000KM races) and hopefully at Sebring in 2004. If all goes well the team are confident that there is a strong possibility of running the car in the Le-Mans 24 Hours.
