Winter Projects - Part 2 |
|
 |
Work on the Bi-turbo, Porsche 962 engine from the
Cougar C26S has been progressing over the last two weeks. After a few
teething issues rigging the engine on the dyno the team were able to
successfully run the engine and test the new loom and the later spec Bosch
electronics. The next stage is to get the Turbo's serviced and treat the
motor to a new set of injectors.
We'll bring you an update on this project along with pictures of the engine
on the dyno soon. In the Meantime you can find out about Creation's other
Secret
Porsche Project by clicking on the logo.

Winter Projects - Part 1 |
|
 |
With the 2004 racing season over the Creation Team are busying themselves
prepping and rebuilding the cars ready for next year.
The DBA has still yet to return from its little outing across the pond so
the team are concentrating their efforts on the
Cougar C26S and the Ligier JS3. We'll be publishing some
dedicated pages to these two incredibly fast machines from the past soon but for
now we present a
exclusive article detailing the work the team are
conduction over the winter months on these two old birds.

Update |
Automated spamming systems have recently infiltrated our forum so we have
been forced to update the forum control software.
Existing members should not see any differences, but new members will be
required to confirm a graphically displayed code whilst filling out the

systems from interrupting our Motor MoJo.

FORUM
Back
On-Line |
(20:40 PM) Good news, the problems
we had with the Creation Forum earlier today have been fixed.
Luckily the four SQL tables that were corrupted were non critical so it was
a case of dropping those tables and then rebuilding the structures in to the
database. It appears that this solution has worked, and all the existing
messages are intact, if anyone still has problems please let us know via
email.

Drive the Blue Shark --- Now ! |
|

 |
Hot news for all you Creation Blue
Shark fans out there. In anticipation of the imminent release of Simbin's amazingly realistic GT simulator for the PC, the development team have released a new demo of the game.
Ok so its still at Spa, but this time you get to drive the Blue Shark
rather than the works Lister. You can also compete in a full race weekend
and that means you can race against the AI in the game.
As this demo is limited to just the Creation Lister and
the Morgan NGT car, you have the option to race against an
entire grid of Blue Sharks all driven by BVR clones !!! .. Now how much fun is
that ?
The game will unquestionably set a new bench mark in
computer based driving simulation. As stated
elsewhere
on this site the car physics are the best out there and the attention to detail
is quite breathtaking even down to Bobby Verdon Roe's crash helmet colours
and the Creation 'Buck Rogers' race suit.
Its a big download but worth it if you cant wait until the game is released
later in the year. Get yourself to the
GTR
web site for the download and more info.

Laguna - Preview |
|
 |
The visit by the Creation Autosportif team to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this
week is a very special one in the eyes of the team’s co-founder, Mike
Jankowski, as it marks a homecoming for the Californian entrepreneur.
Raised in San Diego, Jankowski acknowledges that it is a dream come true to
bring his team to his home state and he is confident that the “Blue Rocket”,
the DBA-Zytek prototype, will be perfectly suited to the challenges of the
2.238 mile track and is a potential race winner ... read more

Petit-Le-Mans - Road Atlanta - Race
Results |
|

 |
The Creation Team and the Blue Rocket put
on a good show for the boys and girls states side, once again proving that
the Team have the pace to beat the Audi's.
The Qualifying session went fantastic with the team starting in 2nd place on
the grid. The Race started well with the team running in the top four for
the first third of the race, unfortunately the hand of the bad MoJo monkey
came down on the team once again this time with an Engine Failure.
We've received three official press releases from the team covering the
events of the weekend:-
We've also few added a few more pictures
to the
Gallery
from the weekend.
